Revolution 250 Executive Director Jonathan Lane was featured in WBZ Radio Dan Rea’s Nightside News Update to tease the Battle of Bunker Hill 250th events in Charlestown and Gloucester.
“All of these events are trying to tell the stories of some of the underrepresented voices at Bunker Hill. More than 150 Patriots of color fought, the first indigenous person was killed at the Battle of Bunker Hill on the American side, and we’re looking forward to getting people involved in all of the stories,” said Lane.
10 days of commemorative events aim to bring to life the stories of Colonial and Provincial soldiers, civilians, and more, beginning with a week of events in Charlestown, and ending with two days of battle reenactments in Gloucester.
